Admission Requirements: Spanish Level
International students who speak Spanish fluently will be able to do the High National Diploma in Graphic, Fashion or Interior Design and Software engineering, as long as they have the requiered high school certificate or the required experience.
A) Students with basic level or no level of Spanish
Those students whose Spanish is not fluent enough will have to take an intensive Spanish course of at least 160 hours before the Course begins.
B) Students with an intermediate Spanish level
Those students whose Spanish ist not fluent enough will have to take an intensive Spanish course of at least 80 hours before the Course begins.
In addition to the higher studies, these students will take part in the following four months (October to January) of 160 hours more of Spanish (10 lessons per week)
Admission Requirements: Diplomas and Documentation
International students willing to do the High National Diplomas will have to turn in the following documentation:
- High School or Secondary school certificate
- Academic record of the last four years of secondary or high school.
- Both documents must be official, legal and issued by relevant authorities. Legalization of documents issued abroad varies according to the country of origin:
- No legalization is required for documents issued in European Union member states or signatories to the agreement on the European Economic Space.
- Documents issued in countries who have signed The Hague Convention of October 5 1961: a unique legalization or an “Apostille” issued by relevant authorities of the country is required.
- Documents issued in all other countries: they will have to be legalized by the Ministry of Education and the Foreign Office of the country where the documents were issued as well as by the Spanish embassy or consulate in this country.
- Translation of documents issued abroad. The documents mentioned above will have to be accompanied by an official translation into Spanish (if they are not issued in Spanish). The official translation will be done:
- by a sworn translator, registered in Spain or authorized
- by any Spanish embassy or consulate abroad or
- by the embassy or consulate in Spain of the country of origin of the petitioner or document.
The Spanish Ministry of Education has a network abroad. They assist or do most of the process. They should be contacted.
